Removing
1. Raise and secure the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear wheels from the vehicle.
3. Remove muffler.
4. Remove the parking brake cables from the subframe.
5. To turn away the bottom fastenings of shock-absorbers.
6. Remove the rear wheel speed sensors.
7. Remove the lower rear suspension arms from the vehicle.
8. Remove the upper rear suspension arms from the vehicle.
9. Loosen the bolts (1) fastening reinforcing spars to the body.
10. To turn away external fastenings of adjusting draughts.
11. Remove the rear wheel drive shafts.
12. Remove the rear final drive.
13. Place the transmission jack under the rear subframe and secure with clamps.
14. Mark the position of the subframe relative to the body with a can of paint.
15. Remove four bolts (1) rear subframe mountings.
16. Remove the rear subframe assembly from the vehicle.
17. To turn away internal fastenings of adjusting draughts.
18. With the help of an assistant, remove the rear subframe from the transmission jack and place it on the floor.
Installation
Note. When reinstalling suspension components, refer to the procedures in the appropriate sections for replacing each component.
1. With the help of an assistant, place the rear subframe on the transmission jack and securely fix with clamps.
2. Install the rear suspension adjuster inner mounts.
3. Place the rear subframe on the vehicle.
4. Install four new rear subframe bolts and tighten to 90 Nm.
5. Install the rear final drive.
6. Install rear wheel drive shafts.
7. To establish external fastenings of adjusting drafts of a back suspension bracket.
8. Install the reinforcing spars and tighten the mounting bolts (1) torque of 150 Nm, then tighten first by 30°, and then by another 15°.
9. Install the upper suspension arms.
10. Install the lower suspension arms.
11. Install rear wheel speed sensors.
12. Install the lower shock absorber mounts.
13. Install parking brake cables.
14. Install the muffler.
15. Install the rear wheels on the car.
16. Check and adjust rear wheel alignment.
