Fuel injection system «LE3-Jetronic» (Opel Kadett E)

The 18SE engine is equipped with a fuel injection system "LE3-Jetronic". which is one of the modifications of the injection system "LE3-Jetronic", the principle of operation and composition of which are described above. In the system "LE3-Jetronic" the electronic control unit and air flow meter are combined into one unit, which frees up space and simplifies the wiring. The carbon monoxide (CO) content in the exhaust gases is adjusted using the CO correction potentiometer screw built into the electronic control unit, rather than using the screw that changes the cross-section of the bypass air duct, as in the "LE-Jetronic".
