All rubber seals should be dusted with talc from time to time to maintain their elasticity and easy sliding of glass in rubber seals. If creaking occurs in rubber seals, the sliding surfaces and seals are coated with talc or glycerin. Soap can also be used.
Windshield and rear window leaks are eliminated using a special window putty, which is applied between the sealing rubber and the frame. The remains of the putty are removed with alcohol.
