All rubber seals should be dusted with talcum powder from time to time to keep them flexible and the glass slides easily in the rubber seals. If a squeak occurs in rubber seals, the sliding surfaces and seals are coated with talc or glycerin. You can also use soap.
Leaks in the windshield and rear window are eliminated using a special window putty, which is applied between the sealing rubber and the frame. The remaining putty is removed with alcohol.
