Replacing glow plugs (Opel Insignia A)

1. Open the hood.

2. Remove the engine cover.

3. Disconnect the electrical connectors of all glow plugs.

4. Clean the areas around each glow plug.

5. Remove the glow plugs (1):
  • Using the EN-48390 puller, remove the glow plugs without pressure sensors.
  • Using the EN-6104 puller, remove the glow plugs with pressure sensors.

Using the EN-6104 puller, remove the glow plugs with pressure sensors.


6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Note: Glow plug tightening torque: 11 Nm.
