1. Remove the brake caliper from the mounting bracket.
2. Remove the brake pads from the caliper bracket.
3. Check the brake shoe fixing hardware for the following:
- Absence of elements of fastening of brake pads.
- Excessive corrosion.
- Deformation of mounting keys.
- Looseness on the caliper bracket.
- Looseness in the brake pads.
4. If any of the listed defects are found, the fastening elements of the brake pads must be replaced.
5. Make sure that the brake pads are securely fixed to the caliper bracket, but move easily without jamming.
6. Install the brake pads on the caliper bracket.
7. Install the brake caliper onto the mounting bracket.
