2. Chock the wheels on the opposite side.
3. Open the trunk..
4.... and lift the mat off the trunk floor.
5. Remove the spare wheel from the niche..
6.... and a cassette with a set of tools.
7. Remove the jack and jack wrench from the cassette.
8. Install the jack under the threshold of the body in this way..
9.... so that the protrusion located in the groove of the jack is located..
10.... in the deepening of the edge of the threshold.
11. Insert the bent end of the wrench into the eye of the power screw of the jack.
Attention!
- When lifting the body, the jack must be positioned perpendicular to the supporting surface.
- When using the jack on soft ground, place a block or plank under the base of the jack.
12. Rotate the jack handle to slightly raise the body.
13. Before finally jacking up the car to the required height, carefully check once again that the jack has not tilted in any direction.
Attention! If possible, do not work under a jacked up vehicle, but if necessary, install additional supports under the body.
Additional supports should only be installed under places specially designed for lifting the car. Between the support and the car body, place a rubber or wooden gasket. Install the tripod support so that two of its legs are on the side of the car body, and one is on the outside.
14. After using the jack, place it in a niche and cover the tool and spare wheel compartment with a mat.
