Headlight unit model Zafira — removal and installation (Opel Zafira A)

Removal

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Remove the front bumper cover (see "Front bumper - replacement").

3. Using a TORX T25 key, unscrew the side bolt securing the lower decorative trim of the headlight.



4. Using the same key, unscrew the central bolt of the lining and remove it.



5. Using an 8 mm wrench, unscrew the lower headlight mounting bolt.



6. Using the same key, unscrew the upper mounting bolts, move the headlight away from the body and...





...by bending the clamps, we disconnect the wiring harness blocks from the turn signal lamp socket 1, the low beam lamp socket 2, the high beam lamp 3 and the electric corrector 4.

Installation

We install the headlight unit on the car in the reverse order. We check and, if necessary, adjust the direction of the light beam of the headlight unit (see "Headlight adjustment").
