Description of the design (Opel Zafira A)

The car has two headlamps. For low beam, halogen lamps H7U are used, for high beam - HB3U, which do not emit ultraviolet rays that can damage the plastic headlamp cap.

The headlights also contain side lights and turn signals. The turn signals are duplicated by side turn signals (repeaters), mounted on the front fenders.

To adjust the direction of the light beam, there are two screws on the back wall of each headlight unit, which allow you to change the direction of the light beam in the horizontal and vertical planes. The headlight units are also equipped with an electric corrector for the direction of the light flow, which allows you to change the direction of the light beam in the vertical plane from the passenger compartment in accordance with the vehicle load.

Some cars are equipped with fog lights, which are mounted in the niches of the front bumper.

The car is equipped with rear lights consisting of four sections: parking light/brake light, turn signal, reversing light and fog light.

The front part of the Astra cabin ceiling has a light that turns on automatically when any of the side doors is opened (switches installed in doorways) or forced - by a switch. On Zafira models, an individual lighting lamp is installed in the front part of the cabin, and a cabin lighting lamp is installed in the central part of the ceiling.

Rear number plate when side lights are on (outdoor lighting) on Astra models it is illuminated by one lamp, on Zafira models – by two.

The luggage compartment light comes on when the luggage compartment door is opened, for which purpose a limit switch is installed on the edge of the door.

The vehicle is equipped with one or two vibration-type sound signals (depending on the configuration).
