Astra model rear light — removal and installation (Opel Zafira A)

The rear light must be removed to replace the bulbs located in it, as well as in the event of mechanical damage.

Removal

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

Note. The operation is shown using a hatchback as an example. On cars with other bodies, the operation is performed similarly, except for the method of fastening the decorative grille: on the sedan there are two clamps, and on the station wagon there are rotating clamps similar to those on the Zafira model (see Fig. "Zafira Tail Light - Removal and Installation").

2. In the luggage compartment, press the latch and remove the decorative grille.



3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector.



4. Unscrew the two nuts, while holding the lantern from the outside with one hand.
