Starting the engine (Opel Omega B)

Starting a gasoline engine



The gear shift lever is in neutral position.

Press the clutch pedal.

Automatic transmission selector lever in position P or N.

Do not press the accelerator pedal.

Turn the key to position III.

Starting diesel engines



The gear shift lever is in neutral position.

Press the clutch pedal.

Automatic transmission selector lever in position P or N.

Do not press the accelerator pedal.

Turn the key to position II. After the starting preheating indicator goes out, turn the key to position III.
