Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals.

Raise the front of the vehicle and place it on stands.

Disconnect the red connector from the sensor and unscrew the sensor from the cylinder block.

The sensor is installed in the reverse order. In this case, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the sensor and the cylinder block. After installation, make sure that the sensor is tightly pressed to the block.

Removal and installation the ignition distributor



Disconnect the high voltage wire from the distributor.

Loosen the three mounting screws and remove the distributor cover.

Remove the lower sealing gasket.

Loosen the three screws securing the spark timing sensor housing and remove the sensor.
