Removal the cylinder head cover (Opel Insignia A)

1. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rear rigging eye.

1. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rear rigging eye.


2. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the front rigging eye (1).

2. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the front rigging eye (1).


3. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the brake booster pump.

3. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the brake booster pump.


4. Remove and discard the O-ring (1) from the brake booster pump.

5. Loosen the bolt and remove the coil (1).

5. Loosen the bolt and remove the coil (1).


6. Loosen the camshaft housing insulator cover bolts.



7. Remove the camshaft housing insulator cover.

7. Remove the camshaft housing insulator cover.


8. Remove the cylinder head cover assembly.

8. Remove the cylinder head cover assembly.


Note: Do not disconnect the vinyl hose from the engine cylinder head cover. The vinyl hose and cylinder head cover are not serviced separately.


9. Remove and discard the cylinder head cover gasket, cylinder head cover bushings and cover bolts if they are serviced together with the bushings.
