Replacing the power steering expansion tank (four-cylinder engine) (Opel Insignia A)

            0

1. Remove as much working fluid as possible from the power steering expansion tank.

2. Place a drip tray under the vehicle to collect the fluid.

3. Loosen the clamp (1) and disconnect the inlet hose (2) of the power steering expansion tank.

3. Loosen the clamp (1) and disconnect the inlet hose (2) of the power steering expansion tank.


4. Loosen the clamp (3) and disconnect the drain hose (4) of the power steering expansion tank.

5. Remove the retaining clamp (5).

6. Loosen the two screws (6) securing the expansion tank.

Note: Tightening torque: 4 Nm.


7. Remove the expansion tank (7) of the power steering.

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

9. Fill the power steering reservoir with working fluid and bleed the system.

10. Remove excess power steering fluid from the vehicle.
