Zafira Rear Window Wiper Drive — Replacement (Opel Zafira A)

The necessity of performing this operation should be determined during the windscreen wiper check (see "Windscreen wiper - checking technical condition and diagnostics of faults").

Sequence of execution

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Fold back the mudguard cover on the rear wiper arm.



3. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the windshield wiper arm mounting nut.



4. Note the location of the brush on the rear window and remove the lever from its drive.



5. Remove the trim of the luggage compartment door (see "Zafira tailgate trim - removal and installation").



6. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the gearmotor.



7. Using the TORX E8 key, unscrew the three bolts securing the gearmotor and remove it.



8. Install the parts in reverse order.
