Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Open the hood and remove the protective covers from the left and right windshield wiper arms.

3. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nuts securing the left and right windshield wiper arms.

4. Remove the windshield wiper arms.

5. Remove the engine compartment shield seal.

6. Remove the ventilation grille.

7. Disconnect the hoses from the injectors (see "Windscreen washer nozzles - adjustment and replacement") and finally remove the grill.
8. Remove the plastic dirt-protective cover of the gear motor.

9. Using an 8 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the four bolts securing the trapezoid and gear motor.

We inspect the trapezoid and joints. In case of mechanical damage, only the drive rods are changed separately.
10. To do this, insert a 14 mm open-end wrench into the spacer at the junction of the rod with the lever axle drive and, overcoming the force of the lock, disconnect the rod from the drive.

11. In the same way, disconnect the rod from the gear motor crank and remove the rod.

12. Remove the second rod in the same way.
13. Install the parts in reverse order.
