The cars are equipped with a windscreen wiper and washer, as well as a tailgate wiper and washer on Zafira and Astra hatchback and estate models.
The windshield wiper consists of a gear motor, a trapezoid and two arms with brushes. The rear wiper consists of a gear motor and an arm with a brush.
The windshield washer consists of a tank mounted on the left behind the front bumper, a pump mounted on the tank, pipes and nozzles. To supply the washer fluid to the windshield, two washer nozzles are mounted on the ventilation grille, and to supply the fluid to the rear window, one nozzle is mounted on the rear part of the roof (astra hatchback cars) or on the tailgate (astra station wagons and Zafira).
