Windscreen wiper blades — replacement (Opel Zafira A)

            0

Windscreen wiper blades need to be replaced if the quality of cleaning the glass has deteriorated (more brush strokes and more washer fluid are required for cleaning). As a preventative measure, we recommend replacing the brushes at least once a year.

Note: This section describes replacement of brushes with standard mounts. The design of the mount may differ for different manufacturers and models of brushes.

Sequence of execution

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Raise the windshield wiper arm and turn the blade perpendicular to the arm.

3. Squeeze the lock and move the brush down the lever to remove the holder from the lever.

4. Remove the brush from the lever.

Warning: Be careful after removing the blade, as if the wiper arm drops and hits the glass, the glass may crack.

5. Install the new brush in the reverse order. After installation, make sure that the brush is securely fixed to the lever.

6. Replace the second brush in the same way.
