Note. The Astra hatchback and station wagon models, as well as the Zafira model, are equipped with an electric windshield washer pump with a special valve to which two pipes are connected. The saloon cars are equipped with a regular pump with one pipe. The operation is shown using a hatchback car as an example. The operation on a saloon car differs only in the number of pipes disconnected from the pump and in that it is disconnected from the pump itself, not the valve.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the left front fender liner (see "Front fender liner - removal and installation").
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the pump.

Note: If there is a large amount of washer fluid left in the washer reservoir, then when performing the following operations, it is necessary to place a container under the reservoir to collect the leaking fluid.
4. Disconnect the front windshield washer hose from the pump.

5. Disconnect the rear window washer hose from the pump.

6. Remove the pump from the washer reservoir.

7. Install the parts in reverse order.
