Front fender liner — removal and installation (Opel Zafira A)

Note: The operation is shown on the example of the left mudguard. Removal of the right mudguard is carried out in a similar way.


Sequence of execution



1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Remove the front wheel (see "Wheel - replacement") and, if fitted, a front mudguard (see "Mudguards - removal and installation").

Warning! All fender liner holders are disposable and must be replaced after removal.


3. Remove the two rear fender liner holders (similar to removing the mudguard holder).

4. Remove the upper front fender liner holder in a similar manner.

5. Remove the two front holders 1 and use a TORX T20 key to unscrew the upper bolt 2 securing the front mudguard to the front bumper trim.

6. Using a TORX T20 key, unscrew the lower bolt securing the front mudguard to the front bumper trim.

7. Remove the front fender liner.

8. Install the parts in reverse order. Replace the holders with new ones.
