Security alarm (Opel Omega B2)

The security alarm is triggered in the event of an attempt to enter the passenger compartment, trunk or engine compartment, as well as an attempt to install the car on the platform and turn on the ignition.

The security alarm is activated by the remote control if, after locking the doors, no later than 10 seconds later, the button with the symbol on the remote control is pressed .

When locking the car with a key to activate the security alarm, no later than 10 seconds after locking the car doors with the key in the driver's door lock, turn the key back in the lock again, then position it vertically and remove it.



If there are animals or children in the car, the interior security sensor should be turned off. To do this, close the trunk and hood, press the button for about 10 seconds on the right side of the radio and close the doors.



After this, the security alarm is activated. The signal lamp will start flashing after the alarm is activated, and after 10 seconds, the active alarm mode will be activated, but without protection of the passenger compartment.
