Ignition Distribution Module (Opel Omega B)

Removal

2.0L SOHC engine

1. Disconnect the module connection connector.

2. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the module, disconnecting the high voltage wires.

2.0L DOHC engine

3. Remove the spark plug housing.



4. Disconnect the connection connector (1) and high voltage wires (2) from the module.

5. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the module.

2.5 and 3.0 liter engines

6. The ignition timing module on these models is mounted behind the left cylinder head. To access the module, remove the wiper motor.

7. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the module, disconnecting the connection connector and high voltage wires.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
