In the description next to the diagram, you should find the corresponding element with its number. The same number should be looked for on the diagram. The diagram can also be used vice versa, in which case you first need to find the designation of the element whose meaning is unclear on the diagram. Then you need to find the element's meaning in the corresponding description depending on the letter.
The assignment of letter designations occurs according to a certain scheme, namely, car lights - E, control lights H, all engine switches - M, relays - K. Parts that are directly connected to the mass by the housing, where there are no special connections, are indicated on the diagram by a thin line. Internal switching of individual parts is indicated in the same way. The remaining numbers and letters have the following meaning: the numbers at the places of connection of wires to electrical appliances, switches, etc. coincide with the designations on these parts. The numbers taken in a square at the end of the current circuits indicate the coordinate of the connection.
The general diagram is divided into 4 parts for clarity. The following data on the designation of the wires is correct for all four diagrams. The color designations of the wires are established according to DIN 47002. Dashed-dotted lines are connections for special vehicles.
