Some vehicles are equipped with a tire repair kit instead of a spare tire. Depending on the size of the spare tire compared to the other tires on the vehicle and the regulations in force in the country, it may be classified as a temporary spare tire or a temporary tire. The spare tire has a steel rim.

The spare tire should be smaller than the other wheels, otherwise, in combination with winter tires, it may impair the vehicle's handling. Replace the defective tire as soon as possible.



The spare wheel is stored in the luggage compartment under the floor mat and is secured with a wing nut.

The spare wheel niche is not designed to accommodate all tire sizes permitted for use on the vehicle. If, after replacement, it is necessary to store a wider tire in the niche than the niche allows, the floor mat can be placed over the wheel protruding from the niche.

Temporary spare tire

This tire may significantly impair vehicle handling. Replace the defective tire with a new or repaired one as soon as possible. Only one temporary spare tire is permitted. The speed limit should not exceed 80 km/h. Turns should be taken at low speed. Do not use such a tire for a long time.
