Bumpers — removal and installation (Opel Omega B)

Front bumper

Removal

1. Remove the radiator grille.



2. Loosen the mounting screws.



3. Remove the trim panels from below the headlights.



4. Loosen and remove the upper bumper mounting screws in the wheel arches.





5. Loosen and remove the lower bumper mounting screws in the wheel arches.



6. Press down on the center pin.



7. Remove the plastic rivets.



8. Remove the upper mounting bolts.





9. Remove the front bumper.





10. If necessary, unscrew the mounting bolts (left) and remove the bumper cross member (right).

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Rear bumper (models with a sedan body type)

Removal

1. Remove the upper and lower bumper mounting bolts.



2. Remove the mounting screws and remove the trunk trim panel.



3. Press down on the center pin.



4. Remove the plastic rivets.



5. Remove the caps and unscrew the bumper mounting screws.





6. Remove the rear bumper





7. If necessary, unscrew the mounting nuts (left) and remove the bumper cross member (right).

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Rear bumper (station wagon models)

Removal

1. Remove the lower mounting screws in the wheel arches.





2. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the reflectors from the bottom of the rear headlights.



3. Loosen the mounting bolts.



4. Press down on the center pin.



5. Remove the plastic rivets.





6. Remove the caps.



7. Loosen the mounting screws.



8. Remove the rear bumper.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
