The starter is secured with two bolts on the right side of the cylinder block at its rear.
To carry out the work, you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the engine crankcase protection (see "Installing engine crankcase protection").
3. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew nut 1 securing the wire to terminal B+ of the pull-in relay and remove the wire.

4. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew nut 2 securing the wire to the ST terminal of the pull-in relay and remove the wire.
5. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew the lower starter mounting bolt (the bolt is screwed in from the cylinder block side).

6. Using a 12 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the nut securing the ground wire to the upper starter mounting bolt.

7. Using the same key, unscrew the upper starter mounting bolt.
8. Remove the starter from the car.

Installation
We install the starter in the reverse order.
