1. Remove the ashtray (1).

2. Using a flat spatula, detach the ashtray housing (2) from the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical connectors.

3. Using a plastic spatula, pry the front passenger side instrument panel molding (1) away from the instrument panel.

4. Using a plastic spatula, pry and remove the driver's side molding (1) from the instrument panel.

5. Loosen the six screws (1) securing the upper and lower central trim panels.

6. Disconnect both center trim panels from the instrument panel.

7. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

8. Unhook the two fasteners (2) and detach the lower central trim panel (3) from the upper one.

Note: When replacing the lower center trim panel, transfer all necessary components to the new part.


9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
