Checking the refrigerant circuit (Opel Insignia A)

            0

If you suspect that there is a fault in the refrigerant circuit, you must do the following:

1. Check the outer surfaces of the radiator and condenser to ensure that there is no dirt, tree leaves or foreign material that would impede the free passage of air. In addition to the outer surfaces, the space between the condenser and radiator should be checked.

2. Check the condenser core, hoses and tubes for dents or pinches.

3. Check the functionality of the air blower fan.

4. Check the tightness of all air ducts and the absence of foreign objects in them. Low air flow indicates increased resistance in the evaporator core.

5. Check the drive belt tension.
