Front rod on cars with automatic transmission (Opel Zafira A)

To carry out the work, you will need an inspection pit or overpass.

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Using a 16 mm wrench to hold the bolt from turning, use a 16 mm wrench to unscrew nut 1 securing the lower support to the subframe, use a TORX E14 wrench to unscrew the two bolts 2 securing the support to the gearbox, remove the bolt securing it to the subframe and remove the rod.



3. Install the parts in the reverse order. Tighten the nuts and bolts to the specified torque (see "Reference data").
