Attention.
- Do not attempt to repair or replace the impact absorbing material bonded to the headlinings and the A-pillars. If material is damaged, replace headlining and/or body pillars.
- If the vehicle is equipped with a curtain airbag, check that the curtain airbag module and limiter are not damaged. If any damage or defects are found, the corresponding components must be replaced with new ones.
- Exercise caution when working in the area of the curtain airbag module. A sharp tool may pierce the curtain airbag. Any damage to the curtain airbag module must be replaced.
1. Deactivate the additional passive safety system.
2. Remove sun visors:
- Remove cover (1) and unscrew the three screws (2) sunshade mounts.
- Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the sun visor (3).
3. Loosen the fixing screws (1) and remove the sun visor brackets (2).
4. Pull the front overhead rail down and, holding in this position, use a small screwdriver to unhook the covers of the mounting bolts. Loosen the bolts (1) and remove the front ceiling rail (2).
5. To remove facings of racks of a windscreen.
6. To remove the top facings of the central racks of a body.
7. Remove the upper facing panels of the rear body pillars.
8. Remove the overhead console and overhead lamp assembly.
9. Remove the front passenger seat.
10. Move the driver's seat all the way forward and tilt.
11. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the ceiling panel (1).

Note.
- Station wagon version with sunroof: using a plastic spatula, pry off and carefully unhook the double-sided adhesive tape (1) between the ceiling lining and the roof panel, then disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the roof panel (2).
- When installing the ceiling cladding, use a new double-sided adhesive tape installed with an industrial hair dryer.
