Switching to dipped beam is performed in the following cases:
- when a video camera at the windshield detects the headlights of oncoming or ahead vehicles;
- when the vehicle speed is below 20 km/h;
- in fog or snow conditions;
- when driving in urban areas.
After removing these restrictions, the high beam turns on again. When the automatic high beam switching control mode is on, the green indicator is always on, the blue indicator turns on only when the high beam is on. The automatic high beam system is activated by double-clicking the turn signal combination switch.
To turn off the system, press the switch once. It also turns off when the front or rear fog lights are turned on. If you turn on the high beam headlight signal while the high beam is on, the high beam assist mode will be turned off. If you turn on the high beam light while the high beams are off, the high beam assist will remain on. The last setting of the high beam assist mode will be retained the next time the ignition is switched on.
